Amidst extreme pressures from up above–the Groupon’s sales force team seem to be suffering the most with ready to throw in the towel.

Since its shares have dipped the sales force have encountered stricter guidelines for compensation. The earning potential is little in comparison to its heyday and many have been smacked with pay cuts.

With employee morale floundering, reports from several sources have been circulating stating that many from the Groupon home have sought out other employee opportunities and prepping for an exit.

It’s strike after strike for the Groupon family, but how many more is it going to take before the company decides to take immediate action?

Question: If you were the Prime Minster of Canada and CNN began airing consistent “anti-Canadian” content; would you censor it?

I know it sounds like a riddle, but it was a question answered and applied by Pakistani officials who recently censored BBC World News TV for airing “anti-Pakistan” content.

Earlier in November the BBC released a documentary titled: Secret Pakistan; which showcased the “multiple sides” of the Pakistan government; investigative journalism that questioned the allegiance of Pakistan and their fight against Taliban militancy.

In turn, Pakistani operators contacted the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PERMA) and ordered to “revoke the landing rights of foreign channels if they are found to be propagating information harmful to the country.”

Earlier on this month Pakistani operators called to block private text messages; censoring over 1500+ English keywords and Urdu phrases.

Despite their offensive and sexually charged literal undertones, invading private cell phones and “word burning” in general forces free speech and personal freedom to take a back seat.

But in all of this kerfuffle and drama and tears and barking – can one speculate that there is something more behind a simple “censorship” problem?

In late September Iran’s Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar went on record stating that Iran “will take any measure to help Pakistan restore national security. The security of Iran is the security of Pakistan.”

With Western media focusing negative light on both countries – is it possible that the West may have a bone to pick with the Pakistani government?

History has shown that the mainstream media is notorious for “forecasting” the next enemy to fight.

Who’s side are you one? Is it right to ban dissenting content? Is the West out to point fingers blaming others for its mistakes?

As Thailand struggles to fight against record setting flood waters, its population act in synchronized confusion.

Mixed information from Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has caused widespread pandemonium — consistency is no where to be found.

In the mid of foggy decisions, a small group of clear-minded Thai animators take charge; becoming the clear voice Thailand desperately cries for; producing informative pieces of short-animated videos aimed help guide the lost population.

The videos: all played on prime time television and online.

Indeed a serious problem, but the animation draws light and exudes tranquility over watchers; illustrating important tips in an entertaining and calming pitch. To help foreigners through turmoil, English subtitles translate everything.

RoosuFlood was created by volunteer animator Sipparpad Krongraksa, who has been living in his office since the flood.

There’s something in the air. Can you feel it?

With the rise of the mobile market, digital wallets, digital purses and everything “digital” – we see more merchants going mobile; marketing their way to real-time cash; laughing all the way to the bank.

In this case, we see daily deal giant Groupon incorporating “Groupon Now” — a mobile app that sends automatic SMS messages to users notifying members of deals nearest them via geo-fencing.

It’s hailed to be the future business model of Groupon; but so far well into the mobile marketing race we see little torque.

So how fast is Groupon Now growing?

The Silicon Alley Insider chart below articulates it perfectly — clearly the so-called “future business model” isn’t growing anywhere as fast as Groupon itself did way back in 2008.
