The first webisode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee features long time friend and former co-producer of Seinfeld, Larry David.

Right from the get-go, the conversation moves in all directions; starting from Seinfeld’s 1952 Volkswagen Bug; pulling up to a Bugatti; comparing each generation aesthetics to why it’s wrong to order tea when your wife drinks coffee to the major difference between a cigar and a cigarette to the word debauch.

The 13-minute episode captures the conversation and quicksilver mind of both David and Seinfeld; the Lennon and McCartney of comedy.

NOC takes the 2012 Gotye hit, “Someone That I Used to Know” and transforms it into a hilarious parody: Jeremy Lin That I used to Know. The video already has garnished 237, 407 hits in less than three days.

Nonetheless, the Miracle Whip non-profit parody highlights an out-of-the-box approach, attempting to arrest a target audience’s emotional currency: to get everyone to sympathize through humour.

Makes sense doesn’t it?

Here we have Miracle Whip — a “smooth tangy coolness cream” known for being an affordable alternative to salad dressing formulated by Kraft in 1933 — trying to shed its unhealthy image using a formula mainly used in a PSA campaign.

But is Miracle Whip really that bad?

Exactly!

The campaign does a wonderful job at making us think otherwise.

The hilariously packaged campaign stars celebrities such as: Wynonna Judd; Jeffrey Tambor; Michael Ian, each spot pleads viewers to sign the pledge like they did: A pledge that gives you a “one table sppon = 70 calories” statistic.

Watch Tony Stark propel his ego head first into a blue-sky canvas, filled with alien Chitauri spaceships — yes he’s that good — and bare witness to the intricacies of his playboy IQ; blanking out, knocked down unconscious by one of the many thousand-head-hunting-alien spacecrafts; spearheading through and between planet earth and infinite galaxy.

The star-studded Avengers cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, and Samuel L. Jackson and directed by Joss Weadon.

Of course, superhero movies tend to lean on disappointing angles; however, through the movie master mind of notorious movie rating website Rotten Tomatoes, this baby scores a 93% approval rating.

What? Really? Turns out Hollywood is running out of original ideas; recycling yet another superhero franchise with the re-introduction of, The Amazing Spider-Man. Directed by Marc Webb, the chosen screenwriter to re-invent Peter Parker, played by the less dweeby and less annoying Andrew Garfield, we have another superhero summer Hollywood blockbuster.

How does The Amazing Spider-Man differentiate itself from the previous Spider-Man trilogy?

Not much.

The trailer itself has seen 10k+ shares in the last 24-hours, mainly due to its widely popular franchise reputation.

Hey, you can’t help but watch when a cultural icon such as Spider-Man puts out a trailer.

The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.

I am now 100 per cent certain that Hollywood is out of original ideas.

Here, we have another popular movie trailer out in the Internet, The Dark Knight Rises. And yes. It will have to pull more than a few rabbits out of Bruce Wayne’s million dollar sleeve to top Dark Knight.

Yet, Dark Knight Rises, the final conclusion to the Christian Bale, Michael Cain, and Morgan Freeman series doesn’t look as ‘satisfactory’ as many believe it to be.

Of course, Bane, isn’t the most exciting villains, but he brings creativity to the mix; pumping mayhem into a Gotham City football field: Batman hasn’t been seen in more than 10 years.

Where are you Dark Knight?

Can Dark Knight Rises raise more pulses than its predecessor?

The Hobbit

Agreed. This post doesn’t have one ef-bombing original movie. Nevertheless, we see hits. We see viral traffic.

J.R.R. Tolkien’s, The Hobbit, a prequel to the widely-popular Lord of the Rings, takes the cake as one of today’s most highly anticipated films and most watch movie trailers for the summer blockbuster line up.

With many of the Lord of the Rings cast returning: Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Ian Holm, Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom, movie goers get to see Bilbo Baggins as he once was: innocent; free; burden-less; precious.

But the trailer itself fails to give this Lord of the Rings fan the goosebumps.

I am one-hundred per cent convinced that nothing fills the room more with “awwww’s” and “haha’s” and “happy emotions” then a charming animal; a cutesy-wootsy animal like Henri: the black and white viral cat with a feline super model-like silhouette no human can resist.
