You all knew it was coming, right?
There was no way Hollywood would be able to resist dramatizing the covert operation that was ordered under US president Barack Obama.
In hopes that it’s not another failed Hollywood attempt in glorifying a pivotal moment in US history–the new film, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ has some high expectations packing some serious directing power.
Known for her recent Oscar winner, The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow attempts at depicting the story of the US Navy Seal unit that raided Bin Laden’s compound in northern Pakistan in May of last year which resulted in the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
Unfortunately there is still ways to go before the film hits the big screens, the expected release date is the 19th of December, right after this year’s US presidential election.
