You know you’re a bad ass when an Ayatollah publicly calls for your execution, Salmon Rusdie, known for his controversial 1988 novel, “Satanic Verses” makes GoBabu’s person of the day.

Even til this day — 22-years after he published Satanic Verses –- Rushdie continues to receive death threats and recently cancelled his 2012 Jaipur Literary Festival appearance in India because of them.

Rushdie later discovered that the death threats were fake; swearing that he will one day return to India: regardless.
